How it works:

spamblocked.net uses both Realtime Block Lists and SpamAssassin rules to block unwanted emails. Because spammers continually change their methods, we continually change our rules to keep ahead of them. Generally we're quite successful and block over 99% of the spam that would otherwise reach your inbox or domain.

Realtime Block Lists completely block senders identified as probable spammers from sending email to your mailbox or domain. Innocent senders who happen to share email servers and/or Internet addresses (IP number) with spammers will receive a return email explaining how they can visit our website and "whitelist" themselves so they may still send you email.

SpamAssassin rules mark your email rather than block it, and are not quite as aggressive at blocking spam. Mail marked by SpamAssassin will still reach your mailbox normally, but will be marked in such a way that you can filter it into special "suspected spam" mailboxes and check them at your convenience to make sure they're spam before you delete them.

spamblocked.net gives you full control; you may use either the Realtime Block Lists or SpamAssassin rules to keep spam away from you.
